LeBron James recently shared a photo of his newly acquired tattoo, which pays tribute to the late Kobe Bryant. The ink features a black mamba, as well as Bryant’s jersey numbers 24 and 8, two roses, and the words “Mamba 4 Life.” LeBron referred to Kobe as his brother and used hashtags RIPKobe and RIPGiGi to honor the memory of the basketball legend and his daughter. Along with Anthony Davis, LeBron visited tattoo artist Vanessa Aurelia on Wednesday to get their new tattoos as a sign of respect for Kobe.
On Thursday morning, Bron and the Lakers were seen practicing in front of the Lakers facility in El Segundo. They also gave the media a glimpse of Bron’s new tattoo, which has not yet been revealed to the public. The tattoo features a black mamba snake with some words written underneath, which some speculate may read “Kobe 4 Life.” However, it’s difficult to confirm this. Bron is reportedly planning to share a big reveal of the tattoo on his Instagram account soon, most likely before Friday’s game against the Portland Trail Blazers at Staples Center.
