Recently, Gal Gadot – the 32-year-old actress who played Wonder Woman – shared a photo on social media of her enjoying a bowling trip. Despite her hectic schedule, the actress is not shying away from supporting sexual harassment and assault victims. In fact, she refused to sign on for the Wonder Woman sequel if it was going to involve producer Brett Ratner or his company, RatPac-Dune Entertainment. Brett Ratner has been accused of sexual misconduct by multiple women. Gal understands that one way to fight against individuals like Ratner is to hit them where it hurts the most – their wallets.
The woman who portrayed the iconic role of Wonder Woman seemed to be in excellent physical condition and looked truly magnificent while engaging in a recreational pursuit.
The gorgeous bowler from Israel displayed remarkable talent as she focused on the target and sent the ball rolling towards the pins. As per a source, Gadot was conscious of her considerable impact in the Warner Bros matter and asserted that a film promoting women’s empowerment cannot be funded by a man who has been accused of sexually harassing women. During an interview with Savannah Guthrie on November 15, Gadot reiterated her stance and stated that she fully endorses the brave women who have come forward to speak against bullying and sexual misconduct. She added that her opinions are well-known and she has nothing to conceal.
Thanks to the massive success of Wonder Woman, earning a staggering $821 million at the box office over the summer, Gadot has cemented her status as one of the most sought-after celebrities of 2017.
Gadot is pumped and prepared to take on a new challenge, displaying her expertise with the famous golden lasso in past DC movies such as Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and the recent Justice League. It’s important to mention that Ratner, who has been accused by six women (including actresses Olivia Munn and Natasha Henstridge), was removed from the Warner Bros. lot in early November after allegations were brought to light in a Los Angeles Times article. Nevertheless, Gadot revealed that she did not have any involvement in the decision to remove Ratner from the upcoming sequel because it was already decided before she knew about it.
Could this be the end of a significant period? On the 29th of October, Brett Ratner was set to receive an award from the Jewish National Fund which was supposed to be presented by Gadot. Regrettably, scheduling conflicts arose, and she couldn’t make it.
After six women reported allegations of sexual harassment and abuse against a producer, Warner Bros. has removed him from their premises and a whiskey company he was working with has stopped production of his brand. The decision to take action had already been made by all involved parties, so there was no need for them to speak out after the article was released. One of the individuals originally set to honor the producer at an event withdrew due to scheduling conflicts. The producer’s lawyer has denied all allegations made against him.
