Over the weekend episode of NBC’s Saturday Night Live, Gal Gadot stepped into the sandals of Wonder Woman for a fun sketch. In the spoof, Gadot’s Wonder Woman interacts with her fellow Amazonian warriors, when suddenly Kate McKinnon and Aidy Bryant arrive on a rowboat, thrilled to have stumbled upon the hidden island of Themyscira.
To their disappointment, McKinnon and Bryant, playing lesbians in the sketch, find that the island’s inhabitants were not interested in their romantic advances. Despite their failed attempts, Gadot’s Wonder Woman decides to give it a try and shares a kiss with McKinnon, only to admit afterwards that she felt nothing.
Undeterred, McKinnon and Bryant decide to sail off to the nearby isle of Lesbos in search of companionship, making for a humorous and lighthearted moment on the show.
