Steph Curry and his wife, Ayesha, recently braved the desert dunes to tackle some intense workout sessions.
According to Austin Reaves, LeBron James requested a minicamp for the Los Angeles Lakers, which was attended by all team members. Reaves also praised Anthony Davis’s shooting skills in a recent episode of “The Lowe Post” podcast, stating that if he shoots more often at a high level, he will be unstoppable. Davis had a career-best 32.3% shooting from 3-to-10 feet last season, but his overall proportion of long-range attempts decreased as a result. Nevertheless, Davis was once a three-level scorer and had a 33.3% average from his last season with the New Orleans Pelicans in 2017-18 through his first season with the Lakers in 2019-20.
Reaves believes that Davis will shoot better this year and take more attempts. He also thinks that Davis’s selflessness is a strength, but it may hold the Lakers back from reaching their full potential. Kevin Garnett, a Hall of Famer, predicted that Davis would win MVP in the next two years. Davis is the only player the Lakers can count on to be a solid defender, according to Reaves, and he is the best defensive player he has ever played with. With his improved scoring ability from deep, Davis has the potential to live up to expectations this year.
