“Mark your calendars: Experience the LeBron James Gallery on November 25th!”

LeBron James Museum Opens in Akron

The LeBron James Family Foundation has announced the opening of the first-ever official museum dedicated to LeBron James, called “LeBron James’ Home Court.” Opening on November 25 at House Three Thirty, 532 W. Market St., the museum will provide a multimedia experience showcasing James’ life from his early days in Akron to becoming an NBA superstar. The exhibit will display never-before-seen items from James’ personal collection such as his 2003 NBA Draft suit, McDonald’s All-American jersey, and the original TV from his Spring Hill apartment. One notable feature is a recreation of St. Vincent-St. Mary’s LeBron James Arena, including the rim and backboard that James used during his time there.

The exhibit features various items that LeBron James has accumulated over the years, such as fan art, his special shoes worn during significant games, family photos displayed in his replicated office, and notes he wrote as a keepsake from his journey. The tour will also showcase pivotal moments in his career as an entrepreneur and philanthropist, with guests taking a self-guided walkthrough that will culminate in the narrative of how the LJFF has transformed from a bikeathon to a globally recognized community-building entity.
