Following the Lakers’ win over the Cavaliers, LeBron James took to Instagram to pay tribute to his former team and the city of Cleveland. Despite having a less than stellar performance, James was able to contribute to the team’s victory with six rebounds and six assists. The game itself was highly competitive, with both teams hoping to make it deep into the postseason. James, who grew up in Akron and was drafted by the Cavaliers in 2003, was honored by his former team with a tribute film during the game. Despite any past animosity over his departure from Cleveland, James formed his hands into the shape of a heart and waved to the fans in appreciation.
