Just under a month after the exposive Season 19 reunion, Alexis Bellino has revealed she will not be returning to Bravo’s Real Housewives of Orange County in Season 20.
Bellino, 47, joined the cast back in Season 5, and stayed until Season 8, when she left and was replaced by Shannon Beador, who is still on the show a decade later.
Bellino returned as a ‘friend’ of the show in Season 19, which made things even more awkward since she is engaged to Beador’s ex John Janssen.
The two clashed all season long, but perhaps none more memorably then on Part 2 of the reunion in November, when Beador sarcastically called Bellino ‘a TV star,’ which had many of the other housewives howling.
Now Bellino has revealed that she won’t be returning to the Bravo series, specifically stating, ‘I was not asked back next season,’ on the Going Rogue podcast.
‘I can’t say it came as a shock, it did not come as a shock. It was a hard conversation,’ she said, though she admitted, ‘I guess I wasn’t really prepared.

‘I didn’t think contracts were coming out. Like, I thought we had more time. … [So] it was a shock when the call came, but I was never shocked about that information,’ Bellino said, admitting, ‘It was a little bit of a relief.’
‘I mean nobody wants the rejection, and no one wants to [hear] you’re not asked back. But it already happened to me. It happened to me in season 8. I’ve been there, done that!,’ Bellino admitted.
She added on the podcast that she’s still, ‘very good friends’ with Jennifer Pedranti and Katie Ginnella, who debuted last season.
However, she’s still working things out with Heather Dubrow and Tamra Judge after what they said to Beador at the reunion.
‘I didn’t know after that scene, how do I fit in? I still thought there might be a way they can make it work for everybody to come back. But you know, the cards played the way they did,’ she said.
‘How do they bring someone back who is not a fan favorite vs. the fan favorite? And I get that,’ she said of Beador’s popularity.
Back in late October, even before the reunion special aired, Beador insisted on The Viall Files that she would never film with Bellino again.
‘If everyone wants to bring Alexis back then have a nice time with her, because I’m not filming with her ever again,’ she said.

‘I’m not gonna put myself through that again. It was really, really difficult,’ she continued.
‘Enough is enough, so I don’t know. It’s the first time I’ve said that so I’m probably going to get in trouble, but I have no interest in it. I’m not gonna do that to myself again.
All the drama brought in big ratings for RHOC, which averaged 3.1 million viewers per episode in Season 19 and 1.6 million viewers in the 18-49 demographic, both 5% increases from Season 18.
Those numbers also represented the show’s biggest audience in the last five years as well.
