Joey Graziadei may have won Dancing With The Stars, but it turns out that the star of The Bachelor almost didn’t do the show. He had to have some convincing to go through with it and a Bachelor alum helped convince him to go through with it.
Joey Graziadei’s Time On Dancing With The Stars
Graziadei had a great time on DWTS. He started out slow but was a fan favorite from day one. Joey did end up winning the mirror ball trophy in the end. Joey was on Season 33 of the hit show. His fiance Kelsey Anderson was in the audience each week cheering him on. The thing is he almost didn’t even do the show after being asked. Things would have sure turned out differently without him on there.
Who Convinced Joey To Join?
Joey was on Bachelor Happy Hour podcast, with host Joe Amabile recently. It turns out that Joe is who helped convince him to the show and go through with it. Joey was a bit unsure about it all when he was asked. Joey also talked to Charity Lawson about it and she helped him decide that it was the right thing to do. Here is some of what Joey Graziadei revealed.
“I was worried about how it was going to be and if I was going to even be able to perform and enjoy it. I was worried about putting myself out there, and you gave me the confidence.
“You were like, ‘I sucked, and it was still so much fun. So that made me feel like I should do it regardless of what was going to happen. You gave me all the confidence in the world that it was a good idea, even if I was going to be very, very bad at it.”
Joe didn’t make it nearly as far as Joey on the show, but he still had a great time doing it. He got 5th place on his season of the show, where Joey ended up winning the entire thing. Jenn Trann was also on his season making it pretty far, but Joey beat her out in the end. It does look like Jenn might have found love on the show though, which is a win as well in a different way.
