The Bachelor Nation star gave her followers an uncensored and unfiltered look at how she’s doing following her Upper blepharoplasty surgery. In a series of photos, the 39-year-old put her bruised and stitched eyelids on display, following the cosmetic procedure, which removes extra fat and skin from the upper eyelids.
Kaitlyn’s post lead with a selfie of her laying in the bed with the flash illuminating her eyes that are smeared with ointment and stitched at the top of the lids, and followed with another selfie fresh out of surgery, and a video of her being rolled in a wheelchair by a nurse.
Proving that she’s in good spirits, Kaitlyn hilariously quoted Meryl Streep’s iconic Devil Wears Prada character Miranda Priestly in the Instagram caption writing Dec. 8, “Don’t be ridiculous Andrea, everyone wants to look like this.”
Before her post-op close up, The Bachelor alum revealed in a separate post that she had undergone the procedure at the same time her and ex Jason Tartick’s dogs had medical surgeries of their own.
“A lot going on at the Bristowe residence. All 3 of us have stitches I got an upper bleph (take it to your group chat if you wanna be negative),” she wrote Dec. 8. “Ramen had a fatty tumor removed (Please pray for it to come back normal) Pinot had a tooth pulled (He was so high when he came home he had to eat laying down). And my back yard is torn up!! (Which means dogs go on leashes every time they have to go, even if it’s 3am). So, good news. I saw a dog today. Have you ever seen one? You probably have. Anyways.”
As for more insights from her surgery, The Off The Vine host teased there may be more to come in an upcoming episode and even asked her followers to vote on if they would like to hear the details about her decision.
Kaitlyn also had time for funny comments. In another post on her story, the Bachelor Nation star addressed a user who wrote, “Why did I think you had Eras Tour makeup for a min?”
Alongside a follow-up screenshot, Kaitlyn hilariously responded.
